Alta’s Gifted Magnet provides a rigorous, inclusive, learning environment for advance students. It delivers a challenging curriculum focusing on STEAM (Science / Technology / Engineering / Art / Math). The Gifted Magnet is available for advance students in grades 2nd - 5th. Applicants must be recommended by their teacher or identified as Gifted to be eligible after applying. Applications are available online through LAUSD Choices and at the school site.
